Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNO): The School Education Department’s (SED) mobile application launched with an aim to get students feedback from students of Class 6th to 12th has failed to achieve the target—with the department directing the concerned authorities to ensure registration of students for their feedbacks via JK Samiksha mobile app. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Deputy Secretary to the Government, School Education Department has written to the Director School Education Kashmir/Jammu, Chief Education Officers, asking them to ensure that all the registered students submit their feedback on the mobile application. “As per the decision of the Government, School Education Department has developed JK Samiksha SED app for obtaining the feedback from students of class 6th to 12th on monthly basis about their teachers and school functioning. The same is available on the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.JKSamiksha.sed,” the letter reads. “Accordingly, I am directed to request to ensure that all the registered students submit their feedback on the JK Samikhsha SED App,” it said. It is further clarified that this system has not been developed to bring out the short coming of any individual rather to assess the factual position about the schools and teaching ability of the teachers to design need specific trainings and make further improvement in the School Education Department, it further added—(KNO)
